The John Deere 4052M Compact Utility Tractor is the mid-tier 4M Series pick – more capable than the value 4E Series, more affordable than the premium 4R line. A 52 HP Yanmar Tier 4 diesel pairs with a three-range hydrostatic transmission and standard 4WD.

The 4M operator station is practical and comfortable without the premium-cab amenities of the 4R. The 440R loader is a factory option, along with the usual mid-PTO for AutoConnect mowers and the 540 rear PTO for implements.

It's a tractor aimed at owner-operators of larger acreage and farms who want serious capability without premium-series pricing.
